Also, on this day, the Beatles arrived in New York in 1964, and Mel Brooks' "Blazing Saddles" premiered in 1974.
To celebrate National Periodic Table Day, we thought we'd head to The Grand Canyon State for Turf Paradise's offering of 8 races.
