Happy Power Rankings Monday! With a very early game today, we had to get some work done before heading to our day jobs. We didn’t have any plays yesterday, and we hope everyone enjoyed their Easter Sunday. On Saturday, we went 2-2 for a total of -0.40 units, resulting in an ROI of -10.03%. After a solid week last week, we finally moved into the positive and aim to keep that momentum going this week.
We discovered an error in the Seattle power rankings, which caused their rise last week to be short-lived. They dropped a bit, despite a decent week for their record. The team with the biggest improvement this week is the Brewers, who had a significantly better performance compared to the first three weeks. On the other hand, the Orioles experienced the largest decline as they continue to struggle despite having plenty of young talent.
The top six and bottom four teams remain unchanged, but keep an eye on a couple of teams that have performed well recently—specifically the Athletics and Angels, who seem to thrive on hitting home runs. Good luck this week as we strive to get you back In The Money once again!
Here are a few important points to remember before you start playing any of the games listed below:
1. We will only place bets to risk, not to win. This means we will risk one unit to win whatever the payout may be. There are numerous plays available, and risking one unit can lead to quick losses.
2. We will avoid betting on lines that are at, or sometimes near, -200. Instead, we will assess teams based on the run line to determine if a good play exists.
3. The price listed is the price we found when we prepared this post. We do not shop for prices, as we are located in California and have limited options. All suggested plays will be based on this price, although your bookmaker may have slightly different odds.
4. From our experience last year, our system was particularly effective for series prices, which you will also find listed below. Please remember that the same rules from point 3 apply.
