We are kicking off our cappin' week with a small but enjoyable race card from Zia Park in Hobbs, New Mexico. While it may not be the beach in Mexico, it's still a great time for cashing tickets. During our last card on Sunday, we only managed to pick one first-place winner and one second-place winner. Overall, it was a challenging weekend for us in terms of return on investment, but this is a new week, and we have had a nice number of wins this year. Being a horseplayer can be tough, but we love the process and enjoy cashing some winners occasionally. We are always looking to improve, so later this week, we plan to visit Turfway Park in hopes of hitting one of those significant payouts they are famous for. Following that, we will head to Fair Grounds in New Orleans for some weekend Derby prep racing.

Today's weather is great considering most of the country is cold and snow/rain. We will see highs in the mid to upper 50s with sunny skies. It appears that the track will be rated fast for the entire card.
