We’re back on the track and ready to help you find some winners on Friday night! It’s been a few weeks since we covered a full card, as we eagerly await the Breeders’ Cup, which kicks off in two weeks. We didn’t want to get rusty, and when a great opportunity to feature a smaller track presented itself, we jumped at the chance to cap the entire card for you.
We’re heading to Remington Park in Oklahoma City for the state’s richest night of Thoroughbred racing, featuring more than $1 million in purses dedicated to Oklahoma-breds. The 2026 Oklahoma Classics will feature 10 races, all for state-bred runners. The featured race is the ninth, the Oklahoma Classics Cup Handicap, a listed stakes race for Oklahoma-breds aged three and up. The race will be contested at 1 1/16 miles on the dirt. Six horses are entered, and we have a best bet lined up: the No. 6 horse, Mister Omaha, who is seeking back-to-back victories in this stakes race.
Friday evening’s weather is expected to be cool, with temperatures in the upper 50s and mostly clear skies. A flood warning is in effect for the area, so be sure to watch for any changes. As of this writing, we do not yet have an official track condition, but we expect a decent racing surface.
In our last post, we went all out with three cards and enjoyed a solid overall day. Keeneland was very successful for us, while Del Mar and Belmont were less productive. Overall, we picked 12 winners from 32 top selections for a positive ROI. We’ll look to continue that momentum today and carry it all the way through the Breeders’ Cup.
Happy Friday & National Sports & Liqueur Day!
