NFL power rankings are weekly or periodic lists that rank all 32 NFL teams from best to worst based on their overall strength, current form, and roster quality, rather than strictly by their win-loss record. Analysts use them to evaluate how teams stack up against each other at any given moment.

Pickles Final Pre Season Power Rankings

Week 1 is in the books, and we came away with a solid start. We avoided the biggest Survivor landmine by passing on the Chargers, a team selected by what appears to be roughly one-third of entries across all contests. We did take two losses in our main Survivor pool and one in the private league, but a last-minute free entry helped soften the blow, leaving us down just one entry overall. The Pick 5 contest was a mixed bag, but Week 1 always brings its share of curveballs. Unless Jobu plans to help us every year, the answer is simple: do the work, trust the process, and avoid overcorrecting in Week 2. Good luck with all your action this week, starting tonight. Join us tomorrow for early Lundin Line action, and again Sunday for our plays of the week.

A quick note from Finky on college football: Temple had Penn State right where the Owls wanted them—until they didn’t. Mr. W’s team still has a positive point differential, so opportunity remains within reach. We’re looking forward to following this team’s journey throughout the season and rooting for that corporate-sponsored bowl Mr. W mentioned last week.
