NFL power rankings are weekly or periodic lists that rank all 32 NFL teams from best to worst based on their overall strength, current form, and roster quality, rather than strictly by their win-loss record. Analysts use them to evaluate how teams stack up against each other at any given moment.

Pickles Week 8 Power Rankings

Week 8 is off to a rough start. We’re already 0–1 across the board after the Panthers’ offense failed to show up in Green Bay. Their defensive coordinator is still there, too, despite being fired earlier this week. Not exactly the start we were hoping for.

We’re down to one remaining entry in the Survivor Revival contest, but all hope isn’t lost. There’s still plenty of football left, and one bad week doesn’t have to define the season. The goal remains the same: find winners, make smart plays, and avoid the weeks that can knock us out of contention.

Here is our contest breakdown for the year:

  • MyBookie: three SuperContest entries and seven survivor entries

  • Splash: three private-league survivor entries and one player-survivor entry

  • Splash: five Survivor Revival (started week 4)

We also entered a few small contests to add some fun this year, using free play we had available. The Prop Queen player survivor is another interesting contest in which you select one player each week and accumulate fantasy points throughout the season. The catch is that you can select each player only once, with the points adding up as you build a fantasy team and try to score as many points as possible.
